Tennis champ Roger Federer hits up the Nike-built regulation tennis court on 23rd Street & Broadway on Wednesday (August 26) in New York City.
The Swiss pro player, who turned 28 earlier this month, challenged local youth tennis players to try their hand at experiencing what it’s like to return a pro serve.
Roger also unveiled his look for the 2009 U.S. Open, consisting of bold red and black. His in-game polos are constructed of knit Nike Dri-FIT fabric. The body of the shirt has an embossed dot pattern inspired by the subway signs of New York, and the button placket features Roger’s black RF monogram logo, applied using bonded innovation and laser cut detailing
